Quick Pack
Version 1.1 adds to quick notes a find feature. This allows you to search either one or all you're notes for a word or phrase
The Quick Pack is a productivity application bundle it includes 2 applications. QuickNotesX and QuickLauncherX both are described below. If there is enough support and purchases I may add a third application I am working on to the Quick Pack bundle. Registered users would get this application for free.
QuickNotesX
This is a notepad ala Mac OS 9.0, but it is greatly improved. First when you launch QuickNotesX it adds an icon to the right side of the menu bar.

Here you can see a couple of the features QuickNotesX has.
  • First Auto Hide which allows a user to hide the notepad by simply clicking away. This is great if you just need to take quick notes every now and then and don't want to be boggled down with a window that gets in your way.
  • The next item in the menu is Floating. This is for the opposite type of use. If you need the notepad even while you are working in other applications and want it to always be there turn on floating. The notepad will stay there above all other windows until you either turn floating off or close the notepad.
  • The Next item is Startup on Login. This will add QuickNotesX to your startup items so it is launched whenever you login. If you move the application to a new location you have to launch it manually before it will automatically start from that location.
  • This is the notepad. You will see it is a fairly simple interface. The window can be resized for whatever size fits you best. The formating available is fairly simple with basic indenting and such, but this is meant to be a place to just jot down information. You will notice two arrows at the bottom. They move you forward and backwards through your notes. You can have an infinte number of notes. The delete button will  remove the note and move you to the previous note.
    QuickLauncherX
This is a menu for quickly launching applications and opening folders.

Here you will see how you can browse through folders and such really quickly.
Here you see the preference setting window.
  • You will notice that you can select the folder whose files will be displayed in the menu. The really nice thing is that you can place aliases for the folders and files inside this folder and will be able to browse and launch them through the menu.
  • Next you will see that you can select how far down the folder you wish to be able to traverse down. When it reaches that point selecting a folder in the menu will open the folder.
  • Following this you can select to display icons or not. If you select it there will be a longer load time, but the menu will look pretty.
  • The Next item is Launch on Login. This will add QuickLauncherX to your startup items so it is launched whenever you login. If you move QuickLauncherX to a new location you have to launch it manually before it will automatically start from that location.
